About Nancy Stevens
Nancy Stevens is a tandem cyclist, skier, rock climber, successful entrepreneur and musician.
She lives her life knowing that "perfect vision" is the key to success in life and business. Her philosophy of “perfect vision” has brought her many accomplishments:
- Three gold medals at the January 1998 Olympic trials
- Participation as a member of the U.S. Disabled Cross Country Ski Team at the Winter Paralympics in Nagano, Japan
- First place in (specific race) at the U.S. National Championships in (specific year)
- First place in (specific race) at the U.S. National Championships in (specific year)
- First place in (specific race) at the U.S. National Championships in (specific year)
- Completion of 3000-mile bike ride across America in Fall 2000, to support young women in athletics.
Nancy is also blind since birth.
Nancy has never let anything stand in the way of achieving her goals. She is manifesting her dream of encouraging people to explore their attitudes toward each other’s differences, and to use their abilities to achieve their dreams. As founding director of High Country Options in Frisco, Colorado, she has assisted over 100 individuals with disabilities to explore and achieve their dreams and develop a new sense of self-worth. While working at High Country Options, she also provided over 50 disability awareness programs to children, business owners, and government entities.
Nancy shares the experiences of her life to help others. Her stories demonstrate how taking small steps toward your dreams will get you to the top. Incorporating her music, Nancy explores with her audiences where our ideas come from, how to keep the energy alive, and where to find the support we need to reach our goals.
In 2000 she produced her first CD titled "And I'll Sing Every Day of My Life." Many of the songs you hear during her Jump Start Your Heart presentations are on the CD, which is available for $17.50 plus shipping and handling.
